Component: BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2020 Jeep Gladiator and Jeep Cherokee, 2019-2020 Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Chrysler Pacifica, Dodge Durango, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Wrangler, and Jeep Renegade and 2019 Dodge Challenger vehicles equipped with 8.4" or 12" radio displays. A software error can cause the rearview camera image to remain displayed after the vehicle has been shifted out of reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rearview Mirrors."
Consequence: The lingering rearview image can distract the driver, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Chrysler has notified owners, and dealers will update the radio display software, free of charge. Optionally, owners can choose to remotely update their software via an Over-The-Air (OTA) update available as of May 1, 2020. The recall began April 27, 2020. Component: SUSPENSION:FRONT:CONTROL ARM:LOWER ARM
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2020 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The left side lower control arm bracket and weld may not be correctly positioned.
Consequence: The improper weld may allow the lower control arm to separate from the axle which can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the front axles, replacing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began February 27, 2020. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is W01.

Vehicle Information: 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Complaint: I am reporting a safety issue involving my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon related to both the transmission and instrument cluster. In 2025, the transmission failed unexpectedly. The failure affected the vehicle’s ability to operate normally and created a potential safety hazard while driving. The issue required repair and appears consistent with other reported transmission problems in similar vehicles, even though my specific VIN was not included in any recall. In 2026, the instrument cluster failed, mileage at time of failure 108073. This caused loss or malfunction of critical driver information, including speed and warning indicators. This is a serious safety concern because it limits the driver’s ability to monitor vehicle operation and respond to potential hazards. These failures occurred within a year of each other and involve critical vehicle systems. I am aware that similar issues (transmission and instrument cluster failures) have been reported and/or recalled in other 2020 Jeep Wrangler vehicles, but my VIN has not been included. Given that the same components have failed in my vehicle, I believe this indicates a broader defect that may extend beyond the currently identified recall population. Safety Risk: Both failures pose safety risks: •Transmission failure can lead to loss of power or control while driving •Instrument cluster failure prevents the driver from seeing speed, warnings, and other critical information Request: I request that this issue be investigated and that the recall scope be reviewed and potentially expanded to include additional affected vehicles like mine.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2018-2021 Jeep Wrangler and 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator vehicles equipped with manual transmissions. The clutch pressure plate may overheat and fracture.
Consequence: Overheated clutch components may increase the risk of a fire. Additionally, damage to other nearby components can result in debris falling onto the road or a loss of drive, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: FCA US LLC will notify owners, and dealers will add software to reduce engine torque capability when clutch assembly temperatures rise to a level that may damage the inner pressure plate, free of charge." FCA has ordered a stop sale for the affected vehicles as of February 25, 2021. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 4, 2021.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Jeep Wrangler, RAM 1500 and 2021 Jeep Gladiator vehicles. A radio software error may prevent the rearview image from displaying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Consequence: A rearview camera that does not display an image reduces the driver's rear view, increasing the risk of a crash.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Jeep Wrangler, Ram 1500, and 2021-2022 Jeep Gladiator vehicles equipped with 3.0L diesel engines. The high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) may fail, causing an engine stall.
Consequence: An engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler, and 2020-2023 Jeep Gladiator vehicles equipped with manual transmissions. The clutch pressure plate may overheat and fracture.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. A stud on the frame assembly may puncture the fuel tank in a crash, which can result in a fuel leak.
Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Jeep Gladiator and 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The instrument panel cluster may experience an internal short circuit and fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, "Controls and Displays."
Consequence: An instrument panel that fails to display critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the instrument panel cluster, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed between October 3, 2024, and January 23, 2025. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 30B.
Component: BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The wiring harness for the rearview camera and the center brake light may short circuit, which can disable the rearview camera image and center brake light. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 111, "Rear Visibility" and 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Consequence: A rearview camera image that does not display decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, a center brake light that fails to illuminate can fail to indicate to other drivers that the vehicle is slowing down, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers replaced the harness for the center brake light and rearview camera and/or the spare tire carrier/harness assembly, as necessary, free of charge. All vehicles were repaired by January 15, 2024. Owner notification letters were mailed September 26, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:TRACTION BATTERY
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Jeep Wrangler 4Xe and 2022-2026 Grand Cherokee 4Xe vehicles. The high voltage battery may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving.
Consequence: A vehicle fire can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures and not to charge their vehicles until the remedy is completed. Dealers will update the high voltage battery software, and replace the high voltage battery, as necessary, free of charge. Some owner notification letters were mailed beginning December 17, 2025. The remaining owner notification letters will be mailed at a later date. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 68C. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning November 6, 2025. I have owned my 2020 Jeep Wrangler since it was brand new. The middle instrument cluster panel (where it shows miles, fuel gauge, etc) quit working. I have checked fuses, disconnected the battery overnight, and disconnected the auxiliary battery and the instrument cluster is still not working. There is an established recall (30B) for 2018-2024 jeep wranglers for the instrument cluster failing but it doesn't appear my VIN is included. Checking Jeep forums, it appears to be a common issue, but an expensive one to fix.

My daughter was driving the 2020 jeep wrangler we bought her & the instructor cluster panel went blank. We have had the vehicle less than 1yr & it has only 38,000 miles on it. There is a established recall (30B) for 2018-2024 jeep wranglers for the instrument cluster failing but for some reason our vin is not included? Can you help with coverage for this?
I am the original owner of a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. My instrument cluster has completely failed. I know that there is an active recall for this exact issue (30B) but my VIN number is not included. This is clearly a safety defect as my cluster is non-functional, I do not have a speedometer or warning indicators.i have no idea how much or how little gas I have, if my tire pressure is low…I am the original owner, as stated ,and this is not normal wear. I am also aware that there is an open investigation into this recall and I believe my Jeep should be included in the recall. Prior to the cluster going out, there was not any warning. I started the jeep and it was working and as I was driving it went off. It never came back on. We checked connections and fuses, it’s not that. My husband has addressed it with two separate dealerships and was told there was nothing they could do and offered no suggestions. I went today and spoke with a new dealership and they put me in contact with Jeep Customer Care. I have begun the process but will most likely still be paying out of pocket with money, I frankly do not have. This is a safety issue and should be taken care of by Jeep, and is being covered for some by the recall.

Steering gear box. Very sloppy while driving . not safe
Instrument Panel Cluster Failure. Black screen. Can’t see MPH, Gas, mileage or any engine functionality. Consistent with NHTSA safety recall. My VIN is not in the recall despite being a 2020 Jeep Wrangler that is listed in the safety recall. Stellantis won’t cover repair and Jeep dealer in Marshfield won’t cover. Potential 6 month fix with no replacement vehicle offered because part hasn’t been in stock.
The instrument panel has suddenly stopped working. Speedometer, Odometer, fuel, nothing displays. There is an active recall for this very issue 24V652000. However, my VIN is reportedly not included and the dealership says its not covered.
The instrument cluster no longer displays any information, it is blank. My safety is at risk as I can not see how much gas I have, mileage, oil pressure or any other warnings that are used by the display. Prior to going completely blank intermittently it would show a greenish color. Other Jeep Wranglers have had this problem, but my VIN was not part of the recall.
Instrument cluster has gone blank. Unable to see digital speedometer, fuel level, engine temperature, current gear, 4WD status, and other items. Dealership said it was not part of recall 24V652000, they stated the only outstanding recall for this vehicle was 25V741000. Vehicle is scheduled to go in for that recall and further diagnosis of the instrument cluster issue.

The 3.5" screen on my jeep went out. Which prevented me from seeing speed, mileage and gas. They have recalled other jeeps from 2018-2024 but mine is not included because it has been in service for more then 24 months. We bought the jeep in 2023 with 20 some thousand miles on it. Why is there a time limit on a faulty part? Not everyone drives their cars 30,000+ a year, so problems with parts won't be known as early as 2 years. We replaced it and it cost $1600 plus a week of not having my car.
