Yes I checked for recall on my 04 jeep liberty suspension and there is a recall on it I was driving my jeep and it is pulling so much that it's scary to drive but it's the only vehicle I have to get back and fourth to work so I researched it and everything it's saying on the recall is what is going on I'm afraid to get in a wreck and not only hurt my but mostly hurt anyone else in a crash where can I take it to get fixed
Rt passenger lower ball joint broke. Found out it was an older recall for this when I didn't own the jeep. Want to know if the recall could still be good
Tires shake, grind and make a pulsing noise when trying to stop.
The tires began vibrating no matter what speed. The sidewall became very thin. The tire pressure monitoring sensor light keeps coming on even though the tires and TPMS sensors are brand new

Component: SUSPENSION:FRONT:HUB
Timken is recalling certain non-formed, front wheel hubs, part number HA599467, which were sold to retail and automotive distributors in the automobile aftermarket as front wheel hub replacements designed only for use on certain 2002 through 2005, 4X4, non-ABS, Jeep Liberty vehicles. These front wheel hub units can be mistakenly sold to owners and installed on 4X2 versions of the Jeep vehicles.
Consequence: If the non-formed hub unit is installed on a Jeep Liberty 4x2 model (which does not use an axle nut for hub retention), the vehicle wheel will not be secure and a front wheel separation may occur, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Timken has notified retail stores that have received the subject parts. The front wheel hubs will be replaced free of charge. Owners who may have purchased the affected units should contact Timken at 1-330-471-3693 for more information. This recall is being conducted by Timken, not Chrysler/Jeep.

Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 1993-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty vehicles. The fuel tanks in these vehicles are at risk of failure and leakage in certain rear impacts.
Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire.
Remedy: Owners may take their vehicles to dealers and the dealers will perform a free inspection of the rear structure. On vehicles in the recall that are not equipped with a tow hitch, Chrysler will install a Chrysler designed tow hitch free of charge, provided the condition of the vehicle can support proper installation. On vehicles in the recall that are equipped with an aftermarket tow hitch, Chrysler will assess whether the hitch and surrounding areas show evidence of sharp edges or other puncture risks. If so, Chrysler will replace the tow hitch with a Chrysler designed tow hitch free of charge, provided the condition of the vehicle can support proper installation. On vehicles already equipped with a Chrysler designed tow hitch, Chrysler will inspect the area around the tow hitch installation, and if any installation issues are identified, they will be repaired free of charge. The recall began on August 1, 2014. Owners may contact Chrysler at 1-800-247-9753. Chrysler's recall campaign numbers are N45 (for the Grand Cherokee vehicles) and N46 (for the Liberty vehicles).

I was going around a corner when it felt like a cinder block was under it. I stopped and looked but it wouldn't go and the driver's wheel was slumped where you couldn't drive it. I called the tow truck and had it towed to get it fixed. The Lower Ball Joint and control arm had to be replaced on both sides in the front. It was going to happen on the passenger side also. If I would have been on the freeway my car would have flipped and I wouldn't have survived. The back tires had a recall on them that I had done. Also the upper Ball joints had to be replaced.
[XXX] My son’s 2004 jeep liberty with 90k miles was towed to Andy Mohr Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram4505 W 96th St Indianapolis, IN 46268 by Cooks. I requested the vehicle be towed bc at approximately 530am i was driving the vehicle in the parking lot and turned right out of the parking lot in order to pull to a stop sign. Shortly after turning the wheel to the right I heard grinding that got progressively worse as I continued to coast to the stop sign. Then i heard a loud noise a and couldn’t move the vehicle. The tire fell off and I got out and fluid was leaking from vehicle. I researched recall for this vehicle and there were several regarding ball joints and knuckles rusting and breaking. I called the dealership days after it was towed and Spoke with Landon (sales) @935am he noted there was a Recall on ball joints 9/12/2006 and he said he would print the document he will review notes pass to Corey (service) and I should get a call back the following Monday. I never heard back. I called the dealership to follow up on status of recall and repairs. I never received an any confirmation that any research was done on the recall but I did approve the repairs. However I continue to find so much information on problems with this issue . I would like to be reimbursed for the repairs. The car was a gift from my son’s grandmother and was in immaculate condition despite being older vehicle she rarely drove it as the mileage reflected. While driving at speed (~70 mph) on the Interstate, while on a straightaway, the vehicle began to sway as if being pushed by wind or like being passed by a semi truck. The swaying continued for 10 to 20 seconds before the rear passenger tire sidewall suffered a sudden catastrophic failure which made steering the vehicle very difficult. I had not struck any significant road debris prior to this incident or taken the vehicle off-road since purchasing the tires. The vehicle was able to stop in the breakdown lane without losing control. There were no injuries or other incidents as a result of the tire failure. The driver replaced the tire with a spare. The tire repair shop replaced the failed tire under the manufacturers warranty. Approximate miles on the failed tire - ~5000 miles Length of service - < 4 months Tire Size - P 235 / 70 R 16

Was turning into a parking spot at a convenient store and my driver front lower ball joint snapped at the base it is a clean break you can hold part in back to gather without gaps.
