If any of the steering gear motor attachment bolts are broken or missing, a new steering gear will be installed in the vehicle. These repairs will be performed free of charge. Component: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:ANTILOCK/TRACTION CONTROL/ELECTRONIC LIMITED SLIP
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Ford Edge vehicles manufactured February 9, 2015, to August 12, 2016. During dealer servicing, the affected vehicles may be have been updated with incorrect Antilock Brake System (ABS) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) software. This software can cause the ESC system to lose engine torque control, and not provide any warning lamps to warn the driver if there was an ABS or ESC system malfunction. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 126, "Electronic Stability Control Systems" and number 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems."
Saw there was a recall for wiper motor defects for Ford Explorer and Escape, per NHTSA Campaign Number 26V117. We had intermittent wiper failure with our 2016 Ford Edge Sport years back, which resulted in Ford repurchasing the vehicle back through the BBB (back in 2019). If carry-over parts / design are similar between the Explorer/Escape & Edge, then you may want to investigate incase the scope of this recall needs to be expanded. Please give me a call if you have any questions. (I'd like to stay anonymous as I am a Ford employee) I think we still have videos of this that we can share too.

My rear camera on my car is not working and a recall was issued in September under NHTSA Recall Number25V572. My car camera is completely broken and Ford has provided no alternative solutions, nor a timeline on when this can be addressed. As this has been a problem for over 6 months, I do not feel that this is a "reasonable time" for repair as designated by your agency. I have asked Ford for alternatives, which they refuse to provide.

The vehicle developed a rattle at idle and noise from the transmission bell housing area. Lafayette Ford in North Carolina has confirmed the issue is caused by a cracked flexplate, which is a known defect covered under Ford Customer Satisfaction Program 22N12.
I got the recall notice last September 2005 and until now, there's no fix in sight. Ford hasn't contacted us or any notice. It been a while since I'm not confidently using my car due to those recalls. Can this be expedited? It's almost 7 mos without any progress. THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN!
Rear differential failed, multiple complaints with this vehicle online but no recall yet?

I received a safety recall notice in September 2025 regarding my vehicle's rear flexible brake hose possibly having a leak. At that time the notice stated parts were not available but the Ford Company was working to provide parts for the repair and would notify me by mail to schedule an appointment to complete the repairs. I have called on several occasions, to several Ford dealerships, since September 2025 to follow up on this safety issue and schedule a repair only to be told there are still no parts available. A leaking rear flexible break hose causes a huge safety concern and should be addressed in a more timely manner by the car company. It is now six months with no resolve. This type of fix does not entail creative engineering, it simply involves replacing a common car part. I believe this delay in repair has become negligent and needs to be documented for when there is a poor outcome due to delayed braking.
