TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 INFINITI QX4. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THERE WAS A LOUD UNKNOWN NOISE COMING FROM THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE BRAKE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE NOISE BECAME LOUDER. THE CONTACT COASTED THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
