When turning on the car, the right side of the dashboard (digital panel) will not turn on, it will not display rpm, gas or speed. The turn signals are not making the click noise. The issue happens randomly and I haven’t been able to replicate it in the presence of the dealer. Once the dashboard is back on the service engine light will come on and a service code is noted on the diagnostic system. This has been ongoing since the car was brand new, the first instance at 1,200 miles
Any time I step on the gas to accelerate from the current speed to by pass a car (by changing lanes), the transmission down shift to third gear and does not Up-shift causing the car to reach the top speed of the 3rd gear which is slower then the speed before the shifting occured. This episode causes the car behind me to have a knee jerk reaction and could result in rear ending me or trying to avoid an impact with me by abruptly changing lanes and possibly hitting incoming cars............. the first time it happened to me I only got the finger which I gladly accepted considering the alternative... I do hope that this is an isolated incident but I wanted to report it to ahve it on record in case it happens to other drivers.

I purchased my car in 1/2022. Starting 4/23/2022 through 10/27/2022 the CAR ALARM has activated itself approximately 100 times. Usually the key fob can stop the alarm, but several times the vehicle must be driven away or moved to stop the alarm sound. I took the car to the dealer on or about 4/12/2022 to search for the problem. After 1 week, the dealer advised it found no problem, but replaced a rear sensor and returned the car on 4/19. On 4/23/2022 the alarm problem began again. After my local Irvine, CA dealer refused to take the car back for repairs, on 5/16 I made a written complaint to Hyundai Claims. Since then, the alarm has activated without cause repeatedly. On 9/2/2022 with Claims approval, I left my car with Cerritos Genesis. On 9/15/2022, my LOANER G80 alarm activated itself without cause. On 9/23/2022 I picked up my car, after the dealer reported it found no problem. On 10/27/2022 the alarm reactivated itself twice, before I moved the car out of my hearing.
The driver seat module was defective, it was replaced & is still not working properly. It works sporadically. The navigation system freezes sporadically, the instrument display panel gives incorrect information. The Speed Limit Display indicated "34" when the heated seat feature was turned on, but the posted speed limit was 55. Information sent to the vehicle by GCC was never located, not sure if the navigation system did not receive the information. Concerned for short-circuit issues with the electrical system which may cause a fire.
I purchased a 2022 Genesis G80 RWD 2.5T Prestige. After driving the car for less than 500 miles I got a message on my dash board that said " Check Lane Change Assist Function" it had a picture of the road and a left and right arrow on, along with a triangle and the information icon inside it. After 20 seconds the 15.5 Navigation screen goes completely blank. The screen controls more than the Navigation. It had done this routinely everyday. We are very nervous about driving the car not knowing what else electronically could go wrong. I took it back to the dealer and they said they have no idea what is wrong. They told me that I was not the only person whom has came in to the dealership with the same issue. The dealer has no idea how to make any repairs I have pictures of the dash when both events happen if you would like them.
