Owner's description
The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V576000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The VIN was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V720000 (Electrical System) and was repaired under recall. After the recall repair, while driving approximately 45 MPH, with the Hybrid Mode engaged, the stalled, and the message "Service Hybrid System," was displayed on the instrument panel. The contact immediately restarted the vehicle, and the warning light was no longer illuminated. The vehicle was driven without further failures. The dealer was informed of the failure and confirmed there was no fix available. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted regarding the recall, and it was confirmed that there was no expected availability date for the replacement to be available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the experienced failure. The failure mileage was approximately 94,000.
