Owner's description

Shift to park issue- on a weekly basis shift to park shows up on my vehicle. The only way to fix the issue is reverse multiple times put vehicle in drive and then park hoping the issue will resolve on its own. At times it does not and I have to retry the method on most cases it does resolve after a few minutes but the issue occurs again a few days later. •Vehicle is available for inspection, I have brought my vehicle to the dealership but they won’t fix the issue until I pay for services and I am unable to at this time. •Safety is at risk because If your vehicle is already parked and it still states "shift to park," it could indicate a malfunction in the vehicle's electronic systems also this could potentially lead to unexpected issues, such as the vehicle rolling away if the parking mechanism fails. •This vehicle has been inspected by the dealership during oil changes and they have been made aware of this current issue with the vehicle. •No warring displays besides the notification of shift to park.
