I have severe painful burns on my gluteus from the seat heater. I had the heater on intermittently on a drive of about 75 miles. I put the heater on for about 10-15 minutes a few times but did not have it on the entire trip. After getting to my destination I started feeling painful burning sensation so looked at my bum in the mirror and was shocked to see an open wound about the size of a silver dollar with peeling skin and many other burns all around. It’s very painful.

On 8/14/24 I had the rear springs replaced due to a broken spring. Now today 2/25/26 I was inform that I have a broken front spring. This vehicle is only 9 years old and we have had spring break in the front and back. This seems like a premature failure of a critical suspension component. Though fortunately nothing happened in the way a bodily injury the failure could very well lead to an inability to properly control the vehicle if the broken spring were to slip and crash is possible. For example a tire could be punctured at a high rate of speed. I may not be able to maintain control with the broken suspension component. The vehicle springs should last more than 7 years before failure. I have owned many vehicles over the years a lot older than this one and with more miles and have never experience spring failure.

The fuel rail bolts on the car loosened, one sheered off. Fuel poured from the front end of the car. When the car was started, to be placed on a flatbed the car caught on fire. The car is currently at a mechanics, but has not been repaired. The car could have easily caught on fire while being driven or started any time before or after it actually caught on fire, it was only taken care of quickly as the tow truck driver had a fire extiguisher, we do not carry one in the car. The car had the recall work done in 2021 in Tyson's Corner VA. The dealer refuses speak to us and states that the recall was done and therefore not their issue. The issue was confirmed with the new mechanic. There was one EFC light on the night it started leaking fuel.

I purchased my car used. In the past 3 years I have had problems my headlights became increasingly dim I checked my fuses and it had blown so I replaced it. Upon doing so my windshield wipers that had just been working no longer moved. But my headlights worked. Then my passenger window would not work with the drivers door controls. I can put it up but not down. I have never had the front collision warning work. Nor the lane departure the tire info used to work. Now it doesn’t. I toook my car into be caked and I was told that everything except the windows and wipers was fine. The wipers had a blown motor. Replaced it and they are good the window motors are dying? And need to be replaced. Also when in cruise control it will accelerate for just a second before slowing to the speed set at. Love the Volkswagens family has had four others and never had smyproblems

ABS UNIT COMPLETE was malfunctioning per volkswagen's inspection. When this malfunctions it can lead to a loss of its anti-lock braking function, potentially causing wheel lock-up during braking, longer stopping distances, and reduced vehicle control, especially on slippery surfaces. Additionally, other driver assistance features relying on the ABS module, like traction control and automatic braking, may also be affected. Other 2017 models had a recall on this part but I was told my VIN did not. There were warning lights on dash when this occurred. This was confirmed by VW.

My Volkswagen Jetta shut off driving down interstate 99 due to major fuel leak (fuel rail bolt broke) I saw Volkswagen had a recall for fuel rail bolt coming loose after time. I called Volkswagen states recall was completed in May 2021 I bought the car May 2025. I asked Volkswagen rep if they would repair it as this is the same issue as the recall obviously it isn’t corrected. This could have been very bad with fuel leaking along a major highway one thing ignited and car would have went in flames. My son could have been seriously injured or even killed! EPC light came on as this was happening. The car is at my local mechanic who advised me to call Volkswagen due to an open recall for this issue. Volkswagen rep states I could take it to Volkswagen dealer to have it looked at but advised it would be at my expense. The only way anything would be done or reviewed if the car caught on fire or someone died. I would like this looked into as I believe vw should pay for my car to be fixed. Since the known problem was not fixed. I don’t have any documentation as my car is still in the process of getting fixed.

My mother owns a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta. Recently, the car has developed a strong and constant smell of gasoline, both while driving and when parked. This is extremely concerning, as it appears to be a fuel leak, which poses a serious fire and safety hazard. Upon researching, I discovered NHTSA Recall 20V648000, which affects certain 2016–2018 Jetta vehicles due to loose fuel rail bolts that may cause fuel to leak. My mother’s car is experiencing the exact same symptoms, yet her VIN is not included in the recall, and Volkswagen has refused to help because the recall does not technically apply to her vehicle. We spoke directly with VW Customer Care, and despite clearly describing the fuel smell and matching the recall symptoms, they told us the repairs would be out-of-pocket. My mother does not speak English and relies on me for help — and she cannot afford the cost of repairs for something that is clearly a known defect. The vehicle is undrivable due to the risk of explosion or fire, and we are desperate for help. I’m submitting this complaint in hopes that NHTSA will investigate and expand the recall to include additional VINs. There is no reason a vehicle with an identical issue should be excluded simply because of a VIN batch.

MY CAR HAD BEEN PARKED FOR AT LEAST 5 HOURS AND WAS NOT RUNNING. MY NEIGHBOR STATED THAT HE LOOKED OUT HIS WINDOW AND SAW FLAMES AND RAN ACROSS THE STREET WHERE HE STARTED TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE WITH MY WATER HOSE UNTIL FIRE AND POLICE ASSISTANCE ARRIVED. THERE WAS NO ONE IN THE CAR, OR AROUND THE CAR, THE FIRE SPONTANEOUSLY STARTED. I HAD NO PRIOR WARNINGS THAT WOULD BE CAUSE FOR CONCERN OF AN ENGINE FIRE. THE CAR BURNT TO TOTAL DESTRUCTION. The other driver was going approximately 45 mph, forcing my daughter into the car in front of her as well, causing significant front impact and damage to the vehicle. The air bag did not deploy. The amount of impact seems as though the airbag should have deployed. She suffered a mild concussion and whiplash from the impact.

My vehicle is within 8 years and under 80,000 miles and Volkswagen of Toms River will not replace or address the safety concern as they are required by law to replace it. The vehicle will hit 8 year on January 1st and they are trying to stallmate me until it is out of warranty

The contact's daughter lost control of the vehicle, crashing head-on into a tree. No warning light was illuminated. The air bags did not deploy. The contact's daughter was shaken up, but she had no visible injuries and did not receive medical treatment immediately following the crash. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to the tow yard and was deemed totaled by the insurance company. The contact stated that a few weeks after the crash, her daughter had approximately 80-90 seizures and was receiving medical treatment at the hospital. The manufacturer informed the contact that the vehicle operated properly by not deploying the air bags because the rate of deceleration criteria were not met during frontal impact. EPC light came on and I could smell a strong odor of gas. The car immediately began to de-accelerate and I could no longer use the gas pedal. I was on a highway road with lots of curves and limited shoulder, this could have been deadly. The vehicle also could have started a fire. The same exact issue occurred with this vehicle in September of 2022 where a safety recall was issued for fuel rail bolts. It has been less than two years and the issue has occurred again.

The fuel rail system came loose, causing fuel to spray in engine bay, as well as loss of power to propel vehicle forward. Original recall for 2016-2018 Volkswagens Jetta’s fuel rail coming loose due to bolts loosening over time was opened in April 2020. Car was taken to Brandon Tomes Volkswagen of McKinney as soon as recall was received. A few years later, the fuel rail system still came loose and the car now is at my personal mechanic shop due to Brandon Tomes saying the had seen the car for the recall. I do not trust Brandon Tomes with my vehicle at this point in time to do fix the issue, if they even actually did anything when the car was in for the recall when the recall was initiated. If they did, and the bolts still came loose, then the original recall may need to be investigated and to see if there are multiple more units affected by the recall that have been seen for the recall and put as recall completed, only to have the issue arise at a later time.

I am continually have issue with my headlights bi-xenon ds3 bulbs going out. I have replaced the ballast and the bulb w oem parts and the issue continues. My day runner LED lights work on the passenger side but the HID bulb does not work. I have no low beam. Everything else works. Same issue on drivers side until I replaced the entire housing unit. Regardless both lights DO NOT REFLECT IN DISTANCE making it EXTREMELY HARD TO SEE AT NIGHT forcing me to have to drive w my fog lights on just to see.

The EPC light and Check Engine light came on while driving, major car throttling, problems with acceleration, stronger throttling occurred with more acceleration. Car was immediately towed to nearest VW dealership service. Me and my son had to stop on the expressway far from home. Problems were confirmed at inspection by VW dealership on same day of incident. No symptoms or warnings occurred of problems before incident.

The mechanic replaced the intake valves, the parts to the valve, and part of the fuel line; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who stated that the intake valve was fouled, and the previous mechanic had not performed the repair properly. The vehicle was not repaired because the dealer wanted the contact to undo the work the previous mechanic had performed before performing the recall repair. My 2017 vw Jetta S front left coil spring broke in half & the sharp ends could have puncture my tire while I was driving. I was checking it over as soon as it made noise, & discovered that it had broken and didn’t drive it & bought 2 new ones and replaced them both and got our state inspection. I got on the internet and saw where the Jetta 2019 & some other models had been recalled, and wondered why my car hasn’t been, no one got hurt over this, but I as a former mechanic I keep my cars well taken care of, if this was someone else’s who just get in & drive it they could of caused a accident. My car is garage keep with 60,000 miles on it. Also we have 2017 vw all track which I checked it over and no broken coil springs on it as of now, I would like you to consider paying for my parts and repairs as I feel that it was the failure of the part and not abuse. The only airbag that went off in the vehicle during a collision was the steering wheel airbag none of the side airbags deployed the driver hit his head on the window in the car there were no warning lights on prior to the accident to indicate that there were any malfunctions the police did get called to the scene and vehicle was towed insurance representatives have not inspected vehicle yet.

I WAS ONLY A COUPLE MINUTES FROM MY HOUSE AND HAD NO RESOURCES TO HELP AND COULDNT WALK WITH MY SON. Both rear doors do not lock. This issue is all connected with each other because it fixed itself. Once and they all came back on together and then it went back out.

The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that there was a fuel leak coming from the fuel injector seal, and that the fuel rail and fuel injectors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V648000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) had previously been performed. The failure mileage was approximately 54,000.

The fuse that controls the exterior lights (tail, marker,etc.) and interior lights at first interment would blow/burn out. Sometimes after a few days or a few months for the past year. In the past few weeks the fuse blows immediately once replaced. The car was brought to a VW dealer a year ago who changed the fuse and ran a diagnostic. It was brought back 4-5 months later and they again changed the fuse and ran a diagnostic. The second time was not given a slip indicating it was was there for the service and was not charged. While I understand no charge there is no no proof of service. As the fuse controls all the lights the car is dark at night.

When driving the vehicles power dropped suddenly, especially above 3000 RPM. The actuator arm on the waste gate for the turbo charger broke. Error P2263 was seen on an OBD reader. A quick search online seems to show this is a prolific issue with Volkswagen 1.4 TSI engines between 80,000 and 90,000 miles. My wife and daughter could be seriously hurt down a highway onramp and the power cuts out.

We own a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta. While driving at 55 MPH, he heard a loud Bang noise and experienced difficulty steering the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. We pull over to inspect the vehicle, We did not see any problems with the tires and they looked ok. But there was smoke coming up from the front passenger side. We were able to drive the vehicle another mile before more smoke was coming from under the passenger side. When we pulled over again we realized the right front tire on the passenger side was shredded. We called AAA. replaced the tire with the spare and went home. We called the VW dealer and took the car in. They said it was a front suspension coil spring that broke and punctured the right front tire.

My check engine line came on; code P05A0. A scan showed that it is my active radiator shutter assembly that is causing the error. My car only has 26K miles, and it seems strange that it would be having an issue. When I took my car to the dealership, the service rep told me it is a very common issue. It is also going to cost around $900 to repair. My car is perfectly drivable (the service rep confirmed it), but I won't be able to pass emissions in AZ with my check engine light being on. The shutters remain open at all times. I can hear it open and close and reopen sometimes when I start my car or while I'm driving, but it will always remain open. My dealership is so backed up that I'd have to leave my car for several days before they could even get to it. I do not have the time or money to do the work, so I didn't leave it for it to be repaired. I have found others on VW forums that have gotten the same error message at about the same mileage I am at. Your organization released a technical bulletin for this issue for 15-16 Jettas, and I appreciate it if you could look to see if the issue continued through the 17 models.

INITIALLY TOLD NO GAS LEAKING, CHARGED $229.00 WITH RECOMMENDATION TO CLEAN ENGINE AND INTERIOR COVERING UNDER THE HOOD AND NEW CABIN FILTER (I DECLINED AND VOICED MY FRUSTRATION). TOLD NO GASOLINE LEAKING AND RELEASED THE VEHICLE. A FEW DAYS PASS AND VEHICLE SITS, NOTICE A PUDDLE OF GASOLINE AND CALLED DEALERSHIP. TOLD TO TOW VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIP, TOLD AGAIN NO GASOLINE LEAKING. I TRAVERSED TO DEALERSHIP AND POINTED OUT THE ISSUE. THEN TOLD MY ISSUE AND NOT COVERED BY RECALL .... THEY TOLD ME THE DEALERSHIPS HANDLE LOANERS AND A RECALL THAT DOES NOT HAVE A REMEDY DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR A LOANER CAR PER THE DEALERSHIP. I STILL HAVE TWO YEARS TO PAY ON THIS VEHICLE THAT IS DEEMED UNSAFE AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT EVIDENTLY. IS THERE A LAW FIRM HEADING UP A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR IS THE GOVERNMENT HELPING IN ANY OTHER WAY. THIS IS HOW THE BIGGEST AUTOMAKER IN THE WORLD HANDLES RECALLS. THIS 2017 JETTA HAD A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF GASOLINE SPRAYING FROM THE FUEL RAIL WHICH WAS CAUSED BY POORLY INSTALLED FUEL RAIL BOLTS. THE CAR WAS TOWED TO A CERTIFIED VW DEALERSHIP ON NOV 11TH FOR REPAIR OF THIS DOCUMENTED MANUFACTURER DEFECT. THE CAR REMAINS IN THE POSSESSION OF BILLING MONTANA VOLKSWAGEN WITH NO RESOLUTION TO THE OPEN SAFETY RECALL. IT IS NOW DECEMBER 28TH, 2020. THE CAR HAS BEEN IN VW HANDS FOR 46 DAYS. I WAS TOLD THAT IT COULD TAKE UP TO SIX MORE MONTHS TO FIGURE OUT THE "PRESCRIBED FIX".

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED AWAY TO AN IMPOUND LOT FOR THE POLICE. AN IVESTIGATION JUST ENDED ON 12/04/20 AND THE CONTACT WAS WAITING FOR THE VEHICLE TO BE RELEASED SO IT COULD BE DECLARED TOTLED BY HER INSURANCE COMPANY. I WAS ACCELERATING FROM A 40 MPH ZONE TO A 65 MPH HIGHWAY WHEN THE CAR BEGAN TO SPUTTER AND THEN ENTER A LIMP MODE. I WAS ABLE TO PULL THE CAR TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND COULD SMELL A STRONG ODOR OF GAS. I RAISED THE HOOD TO SEE AN OVERWHELMING AMOUNT OF FUEL SPRAYING FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE ENGINE. THE ENGINE WAS TURNED OFF AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE NEAREST CERTIFIED MECHANIC, VALLEY MOTOR HONDA, SHERIDAN WY. THERE WAS NOT A VW SHOP WITHIN 100 MILES OF THE BREAKDOWN. UPON ORIGINAL INSPECTION, A TORQUES HEAD BOLT WAS DISCOVERED LOOSE FROM THE FUEL RAIL AND THE FUEL RAIL WAS SEPARATED FROM THE INJECTOR ON THE DISTAL CYLINDER (SEE PICTURE). SIMPLY TIGHTENING THE FUEL RAIL DID NOT SATISFY THE PROBLEM. THIS IS REPORTEDLY THE RESULT OF THE INJECTORS SHIFTING POSITION AND/OR BEING DAMAGED. AFTER LEARNING ABOUT THIS COMMON VW JETTA PROBLEM, THE CAR WAS TOWED TO THE NEAREST VW DEALERSHIP IN BILLINGS MONTANA. IT APPEARS THAT THE PRESCRIBED RECALL FIX FOR THIS ISSUE MIGHT ONLY REQUIRE SOME LOCTITE AND WRENCH TURNING FOR THE CARS THAT HAVE NOT YET EXPERIENCED THIS CATASTROPHIC FAILURE. THE FIX LOOKS TO BE MORE EXTENSIVE FOR CARS LIKE MINE THAT WERE NOT CAUGHT IN TIME. THE CAR HAS BEEN AT BILLINGS VOLKSWAGEN FOR 14 DAYS WITHOUT RESOLUTION. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT PARTS ARE INVOLVED OR WHY THE REPAIRS NOT AVAILABLE. FROM THE START, THE HANKOOK KNTROL M&S 224/45/R17 TIRES PROVIDED VERY POOR CONTROL IN WET OR EVEN LIGHT SNOW DRIVING CONDITIONS, IN SPITE OF GOOD ALIGNMENT AND WHEEL BALANCE. BY 22,000 MILES(07/2020) THE TIRES HAD BECOME EXTREMELY NOISY , WITH A THUMP, THUMP NOISE AT LOW SPEEDS. THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE FROM, DID A COMPLETE VEHICLE CHECK IN AUGUST OF 2020, INDICATED NO PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE ITSELF AND PLACED THE BLAME ON THE TIRES, OF WHICH THEY HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY. HANKOOK CORPORATE SAID THEY HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY, IN SPITE OF TIRES STILL BEING WITHIN WARRANTY . IT IS STILL A PROBLEM NOW. YOU CAN FILL THE TANK UP GO A MILE DOWN THE STREET AND IT WILL SAY YOU HAVE DRIVEN 30 MILES. EVEN WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN PARK IT WILL SAY YOU ARE DRIVING AT LEAST 2 MILES PER HOUR. I HAVE A VIDEO THAT BETTER PLACES THE SITUATION AS WELL. THIS VEHICLE ALSO HAVE THE CD PLAYER RUN HOT, THE LIGHTER PORTS DO NOT WORK AGAIN, AND THE ANTIFREEZE LIGHT HAS COME ON EVERY YEAR SINCE PURCHASING THIS CAR. SINCE THIS IS CLEARLY A SAFETY ISSUE IT SEEMED THAT THE NEXT STEP WOULD BE CONTACTING THIS AGENCY. BECAUSE OF A GLITCH IN THE REAR CAM SOFTWARE I NARROWLY AVOIDED TWO SEPARATE INCIDENTS; IN ONE THERE WAS A CLOSE CALL WITH A VEHICLE PASSING BEHIND ME AND IN ANOTHER A NEIGHBORHOOD CHILD WAS RIDING A BICYCLE DIRECTLY BEHIND THE VEHICLE. AT ISSUE IS THE FACT THAT THE REAR VIEW CAM DISPLAY WILL STOP TRANSMITTING IMAGES IF YOU BRAKE WHILE BACKING UP, TURN ON THE RADIO AND THEN RESUME BACKING UP. IMMEDIATELY THE "EPC" LIGHT CAME ON WITH THE CHECK ENGINE SYMBOL, BLINKING. ALL POWER TO THE ACCELERATOR CEASED. I IMMEDIATELY PULLED OVER ON EACH INSTANCE, TURNED THE CAR OFF AND WAITED 2-5 MINUTES. AFTER WAITING, I SUCCESSFULLY RE-STARTED THE CAR EACH TIME, WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REMAINING ON. AFTER THE FIRST INSTANCE, I DROVE <40MPH TO A VOLKSWAGEN DEALER AND LEFT MY CAR TO BE INSPECTED. THE CONCLUSION WAS, "NOT ENOUGH GASOLINE", DESPITE THE TANK READING 1/4 FULL. AFTER THAT INSTANCE, I MADE A POINT TO NEVER LET THE GAS FALL BELOW 1/2 FULL. ON THE TWO OTHER OCCASIONS OF HESITATION/LOSS OF POWER, THE TANK FELL BETWEEN 1/4 AND 1/2 FULL. THE CONTACT REFERENCED NHTSA CAMPAIGN 17V070000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) HOWEVER THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THERE VEHICLES VIN WAS NOT INVOLVED IN THE RECALL. ISSUE ON ZERO INTENSITY OF THE INSTRUMENTS GAUGE ILLUMINATION DURING THE DAYTIME I HAVE EXPERIENCED THE DIMMED INSTRUMENT GAUGES ON MY 2017 JETTA AND CONFIRMED THIS IS DUE TO THE AUTOMATIC ILLUMINATION ADJUSTMENT FEATURE OF THE MODEL. THIS REPORT COVERS ONLY FOR THE SPECIFIC VIN, HOWEVER, THE ISSUE IS CAUSED BY THE DESIGN, ANY MODEL YEAR JETTA AND THE SAME DESIGN ARCHITECTURE MODELS FROM VW WILL HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. I HAVE EXPERIENCED THE ISSUE UNDER BRIGHT SUNLIGHT WHILE DRIVING ON THE REGULAR STREET, BUT A BIT OF SHADY AREA BY NEARBY TREE OR BUILDING. EVEN I'M USING THE SUNGLASSES DUE TO THE REFLECTION OF SUN LIGHT OR DIRECTION OF THE CAR FACING TO AT THAT TIME. MY 2017 JETTA HAS LIGHT SENSOR IN BETWEEN A BIT OFFSET POSITION OF TACHOMETER LETTER "7" AND "8", THAT IS ABOUT 1/4 INCH OR 5 MM DIAMETER IN SIZE, AND THIS SENSOR CONTROLS THE ILLUMINATION OF BOTH TACHOMETER AND SPEED GAUGE. (GRAPHIC LCD DISPLAY AND NEEDLES KEEPS THE FULL BRIGHTNESS.) IT WILL BE DARK IF SURROUNDING IS DARK AND BECOMES BRIGHT IF SURROUNDING IS BRIGHTER. THIS CONTROLS TOO MUCH AND BECOMES ZERO INTENSITY IS NOT ACCEPTABLE ACCORDING TO THE REGULATION "S5.3.2 BRIGHTNESS OF ILLUMINATION OF CONTROLS AND INDICATORS" UNDER "49 CFR 571.101 - STANDARD NO. 101; CONTROLS AND DISPLAYS." I DID CONTACT WITH VW OF AMERICA TO INFORM THIS ISSUE, BUT CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE CANNOT DO ANYTHING BEYOND DIAGNOSTIC RESULT AT DEALER THAT THEY ARE INSISTED THE VEHICLE OPERATED AS SPEC. IT IS VERY SIMPLE TO REPLICATE THE SAME ISSUE AT ANY LOCATION, WITHOUT DRIVING AND WITHOUT TURN ON THE ENGINE. IT JUST SIMPLY COVERING THE LIGHT SENSOR AREA BY THE PALM OR ANY CLOTH TO IMITATE THE DARKNESS WHILE IGNITION IS ON. IT IS EVEN DARKER THAN ILLUMINATION WHILE HEADLIGHT ON AT THAT TIME FOR EXPERIMENT. AGAIN, THIS IS UNDER THE DAYLIGHT.

I HAD JUST PULLED TO A STOP TO ALLOW A PASSENGER TO DISEMBARK IN THE PARKING LOT OF A CONVENIENCE STORE. THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED MAKING A HORRIFIC NOISE AND ENGULFING THE INSIDE OF THE CAR WITH WHITE SMOKE. THE CAUSE OF THE DEPLOYMENT IS UNKNOWN. THE CAR DID NOT COLLIDE WITH ANYTHING. THE PROBLEM WAS REPORTED TO THE DEALERSHIP ON APRIL 5, 2017 AND TO THE CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS OF VOLKSWAGEN ON APRIL 7, 2017. THE CASE # IS 170305419. TO DATE THE CAR HAS NOT BEEN SOLVED. NO ONE SEEMS TO HAVE AN EXPLANATION FOR WHAT HAPPENED, AND THE CAR IS STILL STILLING ON THE LOT OF THE DEALERSHIP WHERE IT WAS RETURNED.
