I've replaced brake wires on my 2000 Lincoln executive series 5-6 times out keeps burning out wire by brakes light switch. Tried relay kit brakes worked for one day but no brake lights again since I first bought this car I've in multiple occasions replaced this problem in the past 4-5 years no one seen to know what the main issue is

Inner and outer tie rod ends, tie rod end adjusting sleeve, and sway bar link replaced after inner tie rod end pulled out of the adjusting sleeve that’s on the sway bar link there’s still constant pulling in the steering and is either to touchy when trying to correct vehicle back into lane or has to be turned excessively far before it even starts to correct then tries to jerk the vehicle really hard when the steering finally catches up with how far the steering wheel has been turned

THE STEERING IS EXTREMELY LOOSE. THE LEAST AMOUNT OF MOVEMENT OF THE STEERING WHEEL WILL JERK YOU INTO ANOTHER LANE AND IT FEELS LIKE THE CAR IS ALMOST LIKE FLOATING OUT FROM UNDERNEATH YOU. WHILE ON THE INTERSTATE PASSING SEMIS IT FEELS AS IF IT'S GOING TO PUSH ME OFF OF THE ROAD. IT'S EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO KEEP THE CAR STRAIGHT ON THE ROAD WITHOUT EVEN MOVING THE STEERING WHEEL IT'LL DRIFT TO THE LEFT OR THE RIGHT. WHEN TRYING TO CORRECT IT GOING INTO ANOTHER LANE IF YOU JUST TURN THE STEERING WHEEL JUST A HAIR IT'S ALMOST LIKE YOU TURN THE STEERING WHEEL 180. ALSO WHEN ATTEMPTING TO GO AROUND A CURVE YOU HAVE TO BARELY TURN THE STEERING WHEEL OR ELSE IT'LL RUN YOU OFF THE ROAD.

I FIND THIS INFORMATION ON CREDIT KARMA AND I BEEN HAVING PROBLEM WITH LOOSE STEERING I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING REGARDING A RECALL ON MY CAR. I WOULD HAVE DEFINITELY TOOK IT IN FOR REPAIRS. I NEED TO KNOW IF THE RECALL STILL VALID BECAUSE I NEED THE STEERING FIXED. WHEN DRIVING THE STEERING HAS A LOT PLAY AND I NO THAT'S NOT THE WAY IT SUPPOSED TO BE. ON 2/26/06 AT 12:40PM, MY 2000 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR REAR BEGAN TO VIBRATE BADLY AND THEN A LOUD NOISE OCCURRED. THE RIGHT REAR TIRE TREAD HAD SEPARATED & DAMAGED MY REAR BUMPER WHEEL WELL AND BRACKET. THE TYPE OF TIRES WERE CONTINENTAL GENERAL AW P275/60R17. THE DOT NUMBER FOR THE BAD TIRE WAS ADTO 44T 3802. I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO A LOCAL BATON ROUGE TIRE DEALER (TIRE KINGDOM) WITH THE TIRE AND THE MANAGER STATED THAT THE TIRE HAD A DEFECT AND HE COULD AUTHORIZE INSTALLING A NEW CONTINENTAL REPLACEMENT TIRE. THE TIRE STILL HAD VERY GOOD TREAD LIFE REMAINING. I ASKED HIM ABOUT THE OTHER TIRES AND HE WAS NOT AUTHORIZED TO REPLACE ALL FOUR. SINCE I WAS NOT COMFORTABLE WITH LEAVING THE OTHER TIRES ON MY VEHICLE AND HE DID NOT HAVE A LIKE REPLACEMENT, I REPLACED ALL FOUR TIRES AND FILED A CLAIM WITH CONTINENTAL (CLAIM #6059007). CONTINENTAL REPLIED AND STATED THAT THE TIRE HAD BEEN REPAIRED (FUNNY THAT THE TIRE MAINTAINED AIR PRESSURE EVEN WHEN THE ENTIRE TREAD HAD BEEN BLOWN OFF). THIS IS NOT A FAIR AND RESPONSIBLE SETTLEMENT. I SENT CONTINENTAL THE INVOICE FOR THE COST OF ALL FOUR TIRES ($445.12) AND TWO AUTO REPAIR ESTIMATES FOR THE DAMAGE (~$800.00 AVERAGED). I NOTICED THAT THESE TIRES HAD PREVIOUSLY HAD A RECALL ON THE EXACT TIRE (ID #02T012000) AND CONTINENTAL DID NOT MENTION THIS OR ATTEMPT TO REMEDY THIS SITUATION. I AM FORTUNATE THAT NEITHER ME NOR MY SON WERE KILLED AS A RESULT OF THIS DEFECT WHICH FAILED WHILE WE WERE TRAVELLING ON THE HIGHWAY AT 65MPH. I DO NOT NORMALLY FILE THESE TYPES OF CLAIMS. UPON MENTIONING THAT 24 HRS WAS A LONG TIME. RANDY TRIED AGAIN. A SUPERVISOR AT THE MELBOURNE OFFICE OF FORD CALLED MARISHA SAID THAT NOTHING WOULD BE DONE. SHE ALSO MENTIONED THAT I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO GET A COPY OF THE REASON FORD REFUSED TO MAKE THE REPAIR. I AM UPSET THAT FORD REFUSED TO FIX A PART THAT WAS EXPRESSLY STATED IN A RECALL. THIS TIME THEY SAID THEY FOUND #6 COIL BAD. THEY REPLACED IT AND ALSO THE BOOT ON THE REMAINING COILS. THIS LAST JOB COST US $349.81 THE CAR ONLYHAS 56,000 MILES AND I WOULD THINK SINCE THIS IS SUCH A SAFETY PROBELM THERE SHOULD BE SOME GUARANTEE THAT THIS WOULD BE FIXED.OBVIOUSLY FORD DOESN'T SEEM TO KNOW HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM. WE HAD THE BRAKES FIXED ON MARCH 28 THIS DID SEEM TOHELP THE SITUATION, UNTIL THE BEGINNING OF JUNE,IT AGAINHAPPENED IT IS NOW JUNE 21, AND IT HASN'T HAPPENED AGAIN-BUT WE ARE ALWAYS ON PINS AND NEEDLES. I WAS ADVISED THAT THIS WAS A WARRANTY REPAIR. I APPROVED THE REPAIR AND THE WORK WAS SUPPOSEDLY COMPLETED. IN DECEMBER, 2004 THE HEATED SEAT ON THE DRIVER?S SIDE STOPPED WORKING. I TOOK IT BACK TO HOLMAN FORD OF TURNERSVILLE, NJ ON FEBRUARY 11, 2005 FOR THE HEATED SEAT PROBLEM AS WELL AS A RECALL ITEM. BRAKE FAILURE. FIRST TIME I WAS ABLE TO STOP. MY HUSBAND NEXT DROVE THE CAR AND COULD NOT FIND ANY FAULT WITH BRAKES. CAR WAS RETURNED TO SUPERIOR LINCOLN TO HAVE THE BRAKES CHECKED AND TO HAVE REAR BUMPER REPAIRED. THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE REAR PLASTIC BUMPER AND STATED THAT THEY COULD NOT FIND ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE BRAKES. WE PICKED UP THE CAR ON 8/14/01 AND AFTER TESTING THE BRAKES WHILE DRIVING HOME EVERYTHING SEEMED O.K. THAT NIGHT WHILE DRIVING FROM A 4TH FLOOR PARKING GARAGE THE BRAKES FAILED COMPLETLY AND WE HEADON CRASHED INTO A CONCRETE BLOCK WALL. THERE WERE 4 PEOPLE IN THE CAR (ALL HAD THEIR SEAT BELTS FASTENED) AND ALL SUSTAINED BRUISES AND CONTUSIONS. FORTUNATLY THERE WERE NO BROKEN BONES BUT WE ARE STILL NURSING VARIOUS ACHES AND PAINS.
